Pointe-à-Callière is one of the more interesting museums in Montreal. It is built over the site where Montreal was settled. In the bottom you can actually walk through the archeology dig and see the history of the city. Well worth your time if you get up there.

Shot in Montreal outside of Norte Dame Basilica. A wedding was getting ready to go down. I assume this was a grandmother waiting, waiting, waiting… She just seemed a bit concerned about the whole thing… Hope it worked out for everyone.

Using a single light source and Black and White photography can produce some drama. Take this photo, for example. Deep shadows, a shiny scarf and some sunglasses add up to create a bit of mystery.

We got to meet Dalek today! Definitely one of my favorite artists. Here, he is signing the posters for the Poster Cause Project. Super nice guy. It’s nice when you admire and they turn out to be super cool.

Locked and unused. Mooresville, at one time, was a hub of excitement. The mill and trains dominated the landscape. Now that they’ve gone, we still have a reminder of how things were.

Up the road from us is Mount Mourne cemetery. Dating back to the 1700s, some of the graves are unreadable. I found this wreath on one and was struck by the weird glitter and tinsel. Almost completely faded, it matched the graveyard’s tone.
